Dr. Mary Lynn Riggs served as a teacher, principal and curriculum director in Vermont schools. She is trained in Dialogue Education and intentionally facilitates groups to build collective understanding which moves them to action.
Mary Lynn is currently on the Board of Vermont Center for International Learning Partnerships (VCILP), a non-profit committed to the spirit of intercultural collaboration and relationships. She serves as the VCILP Program Manager for community development projects involving schools in Kenya and Puerto Rico as well as a rural Vermont high school project focused on community development. VCILP provides a network for the sharing of information, ideas, and resources related to establishing partnerships across the globe. VCILP’s premise is that sustainable communities begin with schools that have a mission of building caring communities and are perceived as assets in their community.
