About the Modules

Designed with Dr. Sarah Lupo (James Madison University), the Act 139 Membership Modules consist of 6 hours of asynchronous, self-paced instruction for teachers and administrators on the literacy topics identified within Act 139 aimed at supporting K-3 learners through evidence-based literacy assessment, instruction, and intervention.

The instruction includes videos that teachers can watch with activities they can engage in with an accompanying handout.

Topics include:
